Do not talk over the speaker Encourage and assist Caring for property Treat others with dignity & encourage those who are struggling; be a good friend; think before you speak (is what I’m saying kind, helpful, true?) Do not yell out questions, answers, or comments in class. Take care of school property or the property of others as if it were your own. What is Respect?

9 Homework Homework Menus give you a choice!
Check School Space & Class website if you forgot to copy HW. No Homework = parent letter, detention, or removal from lab! You only need to choose one option from the homework menu. If homework is not turned in on time you will lose points and be given a detention. Homework

10 Classwork Interactive Notebook must be brought every day
Make-up work: blog & folders Late work: 10 pts. lost per day Incomplete work = 50% You will keep your notes, labs, & classwork in your 5 subject notebook; this must be brought to class everyday! OneNote will be used to keep readings, vocabulary, & study help materials. If you are absent you need to check the class blog & talk to your group’s recorder for missed work. You will have 1 week after your absence to return work for full credit. Late work will take 10 points off your grade for each day it is late. Incomplete work will be graded at a maximum of 50% Classwork

11 Classroom Rules RESPECT THE RIGHTS AND PROPERTY OF OTHERS.
BE PROMPT AND PREPARED. KEEP YOUR HANDS ETC. TO YOURSELF. FOLLOW DIRECTIONS THE FIRST TIME THEY ARE GIVEN. DO YOUR BEST WORK AND BE PROUD OF IT. DRESS IN A MANNER THAT IS APPROPRIATE USE TECHNOLOGY APPROPRIATLY. DO NOTHING TO DISRACT FROM OTHER’S LEARNING TAKE RESPONSIBILITY

19 Stuff to Know Safety First! Bathroom Food & Drink Back Packs
Cell Phones Headphones Dress Code You must pass a safety quiz, turn in your signed safety contract, & adhere to all safety rules in order to participate in labs! Go to the bathroom BEFORE class. No bathroom breaks unless it is an EMERGENCY! No food, drink, or gum allowed in class. Back packs, cell phones, & head phones must remain in locker at all times (if I see it will be confiscated). Follow the dress code (no hats/bandanas/sagging pants/short skirts/shorts/ripped clothes/etc.) Stuff to Know

20 Labs Labs are Earned Good Behavior Good Grades
The class must demonstrate good behavior and an understanding on expectations in order to participate in labs; Students who fall below a C average will complete work to bring up grade before being allowed to participate in labs. Labs
