10 Home-School Partnership
Continue to support school programmes and events as this is part of holistic development of students. They include Post-exams activities, CCA, VIA, etc. Get subsumed in your child’s life. This include, knowing what goes on in the school, study habits, getting sufficient sleep, time management, etc. Keep communication channels with teachers open. This is useful to triangulate information. Provide the best possible learning environment at home. Find a good balance between being firm and provide space.

11 Managing Stress & Distractions
Help your child set a schedule and have specific goals that are achievable and realistic. Avoid procrastination. Putting off assignments or responsibilities until the last minute can create more mental and physical stress.  Encourage your child to exercise regularly. Physical activity can help you burn off the energy generated by stress. Ensure your child practices good sleep habits. Sleep deprivation can cause many physical and mental problems and can increase stress. Find the cause of distractions: Restrict the usage of TV, mobile phones and other gadgets. Prioritise activities.
