2. WHAT IS THE PROBE FAIR?
The PROBE Fair is an opportunity for THS Juniors to hear from colleges & universities all over the state of GA (and beyond).
Each year THS Juniors have the chance to attend this fair.

4. WHEN & WHERE?
PROBE Fairs are held on several dates all over the state. THS will be attending the one on October 8th (9 - 11) at LaGrange College.
The exact time for THS students is: 9:45 – 10:30 (DO NOT ARRIVE BEFORE 9:45 a.m.!)
Students must provide their own transportation. They will need to park across the street from the big hill and enter by crossing the large bridge that goes over Vernon Street.

5. HOW DO I SIGN UP?
THS Students must have an activity absence to be considered “excused” for the PROBE Fair.
You get an activity absence by setting up a bar code on the “Go To College Fairs” Website.
Please use the following steps to set up your bar code (which will also sign you up to attend PROBE FAIR). THINC a.m. students sign up and attend with THINC.

8. 3. From the list of Fairs, choose the one on 10/08/2018 AT LAGRANGE COLLEGE:

10. 5. VERY IMPORTANT- Choose Troup County Comprehensive HS, LaGrange GA, The easiest way to do this is to type: “Troup” (and choose the one that pops up).

11. IMPORTANT:
If you do that last part wrong, we will not be able to view your bar code, and you WILL NOT GET AN ACTIVITY ABSENCE!
You must have the correct version of our school name.

12. Make sure your barcode has the correct fair at the top & the correct THS name at the bottom!

13. BARCODES:
Why the Barcode? It’s a quick, easy way for the colleges to connect with students. For example, if you are talking to the Georgia Southern representative, and you want them to be able to contact you with more information. All they have to do is scan your barcode, and they will have your name, address, etc… in their data base.
You will need your barcode that day. Most students take a screen shot and keep the picture on their phone.
If you do not have your phone that day (or you signed up on a computer), counselors will have a printed copy of your barcode.
If you do not have a phone, you may use the computer(s) in the guidance office or media center. NO BARCODE = NO PROBE FAIR

14. IMPORTANT INFO:
Wednesday, September 19th is the LAST DAY TO DO YOUR BAR CODE if you plan to attend the PROBE FAIR!
NO BAR CODE = NO PROBE FAIR
