REFLECTIONS- Kelly Knight
We have 2 entries that will advance to the National PTA Reflections Competition!! Lucas Burton Brasher Briarhill Middle School PTA Middle School Photography titled “Stars Within Reach” Artist Statement: Even though our dreams and goals may seem light years away like the stars, they are still within our reach. Achievement is possible when we stand firm and focus on a target like Polaris, the North Star. I captured these star trails from my backyard using a DSLR, tripod, and intervalometer. To simulate a three hour exposure, I took second photos in 1 second intervals, stacked the photos in Photoshop lighten mode, & added a picture I took of myself with a remote timer. Dylan James Shaw Heritage Elementary School PTA Special Artist Music Composition titled “Uncle Boogie” Artist Statement: My song reaches from the top of the piano to the bottom with my sweeps. They are called glisonandos. So now I will reach for my dream.
