4. PRO TIPS FOR SCHEDULING
Student should ask themselves:
What are my goals for after graduation?
Then:
Consider past performance/grades in each subject area.
Review your student’s Four-Year Academic Plan.
Consider college entrance requirements for schools of interest.
Play to strengths when choosing classes.
Strike a BALANCE between challenging course selection and ability to be successful in classes while improving GPA.
Remember:
Course selection and performance (GPA) are the most important factors in the college admissions process.

6:00 PM at C-TEC
GHS hosted this night on Nov. 15th. Intent to participate in CCP form is due by April 1.
Wednesday, February 21 – Course Request Form due to 8th period teacher (grades 9-11 ONLY)
Thursday, February 22 – Course Request Form due to 9th period teacher (grade 8 ONLY)

10. SCHEDULING TIMELINE Upcoming Dates (all students)
April 30-May 4, 2018– Students will review their course requests.
May 4, 2018 – Last day to make changes to course requests.
August 1-3, 2018 – Schedule pick-up and changes as needed.  
Once school begins, students will be permitted to make changes for placement purposes only. For example, if a student needs to change from an advanced course to the regular class or from an AP to a regular course.
August 31, 2018 – Last day for schedule changes.
