Advantages
The AUIRFN8459 and AUIRF8458 are the first in a family of automotive-qualified 5x6mm dual PQFN power MOSFETs based on IR’s most advanced COOLiRFET™ 40V trench technology.
The AUIRFN8459 achieves ultra-low 5.9mOhm (RDS(on)) per channel benchmark performance and 50A high current carrying capability.
The AUIRFN8459 and AUIRFN V 5x6mm dual PQFN COOLiRFET™ devices offer more than a 50% size reduction compared with conventional DPAK (TO-252) packages, ultra low package resistance and inductance and benchmark RDS(on), making them well suited for 12V conventional automotive applications that require higher efficiency and power density as well as space savings such as motor control.
