Practice Management System (PMS) A portion of the medical office record or a software application Contains financial, demographic and non-medical information about patients. Patient Portal A Web site that offers a range of resources, making Appointments, Requesting Refills, etc. e-Prescribing Electronic prescribing (doctor or other health care provider who is legally allowed to write prescriptions) Send your prescriptions electronically and directly to your pharmacy.
