2 Why do I do my A,B,C, D, Es They help me set up a great essay that answers the prompt and they prepare you to write a well-written essay.

Quick strategy that trains writer to stop and understand the prompt Allows writer to map out WHAT the prompt is asking the writer to DO Helps ensure that the writer responds to all parts of the prompt Provides students with have a check-list to go back to after drafting the essay to make sure all parts of the prompt were addressed.

How to create a thesis statement: Choose (three) ideas from your brainstorm to act as main points in your thesis. These will later become the TOPIC SENTENCES of the body paragraphs *Use key words from the prompt in your thesis

Even the best writers make errors when completing writing on-demand. It is essential to Re-read your paper Find the mistakes Fix your mistakes (do this as neatly as possible!)
