8th Grade: Semester Raffles for larger prizes
Examples: art supplies, basketball, earbuds, universal power pack (charger), games, selfie stick, wireless speaker, Chocolate Shoppe ice cream party for the student's homeroom class, $25 gift card to a place of the student's choice.

11. QUARTERLY Character AWARDS:
Tied into the Social Emotional Learning Standards which are taught in our Advisory lessons. Advisory teachers nominate one student for each award. Many teachers also include students in the nomination process. Students need to give examples of times when they have seen their classmate display the given character trait.
Parents/guardians are invited for a brief ceremony and reception; students receive a nice certificate with a paragraph written by the nominating teacher (and classmates, in some cases.)
