SGR Program Background
State Transit Capital Program Formula-Based Program administered by Caltrans DRMT and SCO Approximately $105 million per year Funds from the Transportation Improvement Fee (increase in Vehicle License Fee) Available to STA eligible agencies “Fix-it-first” projects to Repair, Replace, Rehabilitate to a state of good repair

SGR Program Status Currently on 1st Program Cycle
Project List provided to SCO – March 2018 14 agencies did not request for their apportionment – approximately $300,000 First quarter allocation distribution of SGR funds scheduled for May 2018 SCO will apply the formula and re-appropriate remaining funds statewide

PTMISEA Updates Fall 2017 Bond Cycle funds for $9 million released by SCO in March 2018. Spring 2018 Bond Cycle for $29 million is scheduled to be released in June 2018 12 agencies have remaining unallocated funds. Legislative updates on re-appropriation under FY Budget Act
