Money rendered for a product or service through a portable electronic device such as a cell phone, a Smartphone or a wearable. Convenient and secure way

M-commerce Mobile browser used for purchasing items from an online retailer where the payment information is stored on cloud. M-Payment A point-of-sale (PoS) transaction made or received with a mobile device. M-Wallet A convenient way for a user to make in-store payments and can be used at merchants listed with the mobile wallet service provider.

Convert cash based economy into cashless economy. Change in Policy to abolish Rs500 & Rs1000(86%) led people running for idle cash for transactions. Starbucks It launched mobile card app(2009) which let customers display a barcode to be scanned at POS. In % of its revenue comes from its mobile wallet i.e. 4 million mobile payment a week.

Khalti E-Sewa It is a form of digital wallet from where customers can send and receive money from their mobile phone over the internet, instantly. Khalti is a payment gateway that has been providing a range of services including online mobile recharge, bill payments, online ticketing and many more.

It will encourage people to use digital payment and have faith on the system. Create an enabling environment that fosters private-sector innovation. Governments need to offer a clear vision and tangible incentives in order to ensure that the private sector is an effective, competitive, transparent, and efficient partner.
