2. History of Wassily Kandinsky
Kandinsky was born in Moscow on1866
His mother was Muscovite and his father was from around Mongolia
He did not start painting till he was about 30 years old
He is known for completing the first nonobjective painting
He started off painting abstract but the forms were recognizable
Eventually the form became shapes, color and lines

4. The painting is about the bridge between life and death
It is an oil on canvas painting
The painting is abstract
On the left side of the painting, it is gloomy while the right side seems to represent paradise
The horse and rider in the middle represents the bridge from the apocalypse to paradise

Shares the same theme of Death and the Afterlife but also has the theme of War
