7 During Presidential Voting, citizens do not vote for an actual candidate, but for Presidential Electors

8 Once selected in an election, Electors are expected to automatically vote for their party’s candidate

9 Anyone can be an elector…..SCARY!!

10 Electors are chosen by popular vote in every state on the same day

11 First Tuesday following the First Monday in November

12 Most states use an At-Large system to award delegates

14 But the real election of the President doesn’t take place until early January

16 House of Representatives decides who will be President from the top three candidates with the most electoral votes
