Our Itinerary Physical geography fieldwork at Sitges.
Human geography fieldwork in El Raval. Leave hotel at 9am and return at 5.30pm each day. Dinner at 8pm, breakfast at 8am. 28th February 1st March 2nd March 3rd March Coach pick-up from the airport at Sightseeing around Barcelona, inc. entry to the Sagrada Familia. Go to hotel- Hotel Subur. Coastal walk- opportunity for orientation and field sketching practice. Sitges coastal study- survey the beach, beach management, coastal system and human interaction with the coast. 6pm- classroom in the evening to write up findings. El Raval urban study- survey how the area has changed over time and why. Train to area. 6pm- classroom in the evening. Data collection day- sites of students’ choice. Refine data collection according to Independent Investigation titles. 6pm evening write up.

Expectations Exemplary behaviour including following instructions at all times. Never in groups of less than 4, but usually 6, especially in El Raval. Boys and girls have separate rooms- no one is allowed in anyone else’s room. Look after own belongings, especially passports. No alcohol. If rooms have balconies, then students are not permitted to use them.

Key Information Drop off at St. Crispin’s at 6am on Wednesday 28th February. Pick up from St. Crispin’s at 2pm on Sunday 4th March (students will be in contact to give exact times). Soft drinks are not included, so you will need to bring money for those if you would like them.
Euros- a little spending money- airport breakfast, snacks, souvenirs, soft drinks. Passport and EHIC card. Notebook and stationery. Bottle and box for packed lunches. Sturdy and comfortable shoes- we will be doing a lot of walking each day. Waterproof coat. Sun cream
