What is SWOT analysis? S – strength (competence, advantage, doing good) W – weakness (lack / poor condition, disadvantage, limit) (internal situation) O – opportunities (chance for growth and profitability) T – threats (danger for integrity and profitability) (external situation)

SWOT analysis is an extremely useful tool for decision- making, reviewing strategy, organizational positioning, or establishing direction in a company SWOT – planning tool for identifying internal and external factor in creating a strategy SWOT helps drawing conclusions about attractiveness of situation Strength – positive internal characteristics Weakness – negative internal characteristics Opportunities – external factors that can improve the perspective Threats – external factors that can compromise the perspective
