8 Engineering Design Scenario: Air-propelled vehicle
Design challenge: Air-propelled vehicle prototype for Tesla Develop a small-scale prototype vehicle uses propulsion energy (i.e. balloon) that can travel at least 5 meters as well as stop at exactly 1 meter. Performance, economic, environmental and social aspects will all play a key role in your overall assessment. There are two deliverables for this workshop: Submit a proposal for your project, that will need to be approved (10 minutes) Build/test your prototype, and reflect upon your design, to present to Tesla (20 minutes)

What are the constraints on your solution? What are your criteria for success? Improve. Can we make it better? What are the possible solutions for the problem? Balloon Powered Vehicle Choose the most promising solution. Evaluate your prototype. Does it work? Deliverable # 1 (10 minutes) Build your prototype.
