Active listening IS WHEN THE Receiver IS SENDING POSTIVE FEEDBACK SHOWING THEY ARE LISTENING AND RESPONDING Passive listening is WHEN THE Receiver ISN’T Understanding AND OR NOT RESPONDING TO THE MESSAGE BEING SENT

Informative-a speech that provides information about a topic. Ex: All about you speech Special Occasion Speech: A speech performed during a special occasion like a wedding toast or Eulogy or Graduation. Quarter II Demonstrative Speeches: a speech that explains or describes the process of how to do something Persuasive Speech: a speech the goal of trying to persuade the audience to do or believe a specific agenda Types of speeches
