Initial Set Up (Enter names in Address Book for easy scanning of documents) Helping Sales Associates by providing instructions for installing printer drivers to set up their personal laptops with the new All-in-One printer Liaison between the vendor (United Business Systems) and your office – maintenance, ordering toner, etc.

Start Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, FireFox, or whatever standard Web Browser you use. In the Address Bar at the top of your screen, type the IP Address of your Sharp Device (e.g XX.15) and press Enter. We’ll discuss how you get the IP Address in just a few minutes . . .

From the sidebar you can select the Address Book. This will allow you to add addresses and fax numbers

1. From the Address Book screen, click the ADD Button.

2. Type in the user’s last name, first name and their address. 3. When you are finished entering in the Sales Associate’s information, click “Submit & Register Next” to proceed to the next entry. Tip: In order for Associate addresses to be easily found in the Address Book at the time of scanning, enter in the LAST name then a comma and then their first name.

From this screen you may also choose to add Fax number information by choosing “FAX” from the drop-down menu next to Address Type.

Getting Started – I.P. Addresses
The I.P. Address for your All-in-One machine is important information. Not only is it used for you to access the website to enter in Associate addresses, you need the I.P Address in order complete the Printer Driver installation in setting up a Sales Associate’s laptop to work with the new machine. Rich Ronchetta will be sending you your I.P. Address on a label like this one so you can affix it to your machine and affix another one to the Printer Driver instructions for your Sales Associates to use.

Maintenance and Trouble-Shooting
Toner – call the telephone number on the UBS (United Business Systems) sticker placed on the machine. If your machine does not have a sticker, you may call UBS at * Paper – continue to order using the same process you currently use Staples – this is a billable expense. Please call UBS at to order Trouble-Shooting/Technical Support – call the telephone number on the sticker placed on the machine or call United Business Systems (UBS) at Technical Support for setting up Printer Drivers for Sales Associate Laptops – call the Help Desk at *Toner is always free of charge.

How do I send an to more than one person from the All-in-One machine? A. Since the Sharp All-in-One machine does not provide a record of sent s, we recommend that a Sales Associate send a scanned document to themselves to their own address. The Associate can then forward that to multiple recipients.

When ing documents to a client on the all-in-one machine, when the client received them, they were shrunk down to about half the original size… is this something we can fix from our end or is it something on the receiver’s end? When feeding documents into the machine for ing, you must feed them face-up in “book-style” in the direction the document was intended to be read. If the documents are placed sideways, they may be reduced in size or rotated when ing. The document should remain in the same direction it was intended to be read when placed in the feeder. Do not turn the document when placing it in the feeder
