Dynamic Management Tool Defines a shared commitment Provides long-term direction Creates a framework to establish goals and objectives Optimizes use of resources Club vision is a living management tool, it defines a shared commitment among those present this evening that you’ll be able to share and take to the rest of your Rotaract members in time. Provided it’s a Long Term direction, our hope is your planning will go out five years to Provide and carry a framework to establish goals and objectives and optimize the resources that are not just here in the room but internationally as well.

Vision Facilitation Presentation 11/10/2018 Club Planning Survey Results 52% of Club membership participated…some feedback: “If we don’t engage new members in the first six months, we will lose them.” Helpful to receive announcements/business issues before the “bell is rung”. Happy Dollars can sometimes run too long Speakers should have their 20 minutes The Club should spend more time setting priorities, guidelines for service projects. We need better communication “What will RI’s mission be after polio is defeated?” Fundraising is “not effective” “We need more hands-on activities” Advertise Club through Facebook, banners, ads at sports and social events More articles in The Pilot; maybe an weekly ad describing the meetings?

Vision Facilitation Presentation 11/10/2018 Southern Pines Rotary Club Long-Range Planning Goals Continue to offer the fun and fellowship which are the glue that holds together our Rotary Club and the diverse group of volunteers. This should naturally encourage recruitment and the desire to share this fellowship with others. Members are challenged to continue recruitment efforts to keep our Club at an average size of 100.

There are challenges to overcome – succession plans for Board positions; the need for role clarity; clearly defining volunteer responsibilities. All these areas and more need to be tackled and communicated in a timely and effective way. 14 14

Our members need to know what the Club is doing on a regular basis. Our community needs to know the good work our Club is doing. Goals should include more public signage, weekly advertisements in the newspaper and the use of social media. 15 15

Vision Facilitation Presentation 11/10/2018 Southern Pines Rotary Club Long-Range Planning Goals Plan and execute visible, collaborative projects supported by sound funding and sustainable member involvement. We are in the process of applying for a Global Grant through the Future Vision Program for the “Together We Can Do Moore initiative”. This will be a three-year project that will carry us through New funding projects will be needed for 2014 forward. At the same time a long term funding strategy will be established to ensure achievement of the long term project commitments. 16 16

These are the folks that through working together maintain the 80% consistency of programs within our clubs. “The Follow Through Group”
