A “How To” Presentation

2 Step 1: Student Access 1. Log in to MyUCA 2. Click on Self-Service
3. Click Student & Financial Aid 4. Click DegreeWorks for Undergraduates Your degree audit will load

3 Step 2: Review your degree audit

4 Step 3: Evaluate what classes need to be completed
A green box indicates that the requirement has been met. A blue box indicates that the requirement is in the process of completion. Courses with a red box have yet to be completed.

5 Step 4: Evaluate your Lower Division (LD) Core Requirements
Aside from each category requirement there is a breadth requirement. Do you have a course designated Fine Arts (FA), one designated Humanities (HUM), and an additional social science (SS)? Have you had a course designated as a First Year Seminar (FYS)? For more information see the LD Core Checksheet at: ins/ld-uca-core/

6 Step 5: Evaluate your Upper Division (UD) Core Requirements
Do you have courses designated Critical Inquiry (I), Effective Communication (C), Responsible Living (R), Diversity (D), and Capstone (Z)? Course designations can be located in the ubulletin, here: departments-programs/ A list of UD Core courses without pre-requisites or with pre-requisites in the LD Core is located here: upper-division-uca-core/

7 Step 6: Fallthrough Courses
Check your “Fallthrough” courses. These are courses that are not being counted towards any requirement currently. Should they be? 9 This tool can be used if you are thinking about changing degree, major, minor, or bulletin year. (Core requirements may differ depending on bulletin year.) Click on the “What If” at the left. This will produce a menu of options. Choose which variable you’d like to change, then click on “Process What-If.” This will bring up a new audit reflecting the variables you’ve changed. You can do this as many times as you want. It’s purely informational and does not affect your academic record. Select Worksheets to go back to your original audit. What if Tool
