It is ok if you do not want to lend something to someone else. But, you still must be polite.

13. If someone wants to borrow something you do NOT want to lend, simply say, “I am sorry. I cannot let you borrow that.”

14. Maybe there is something else you can lend that person.

15. Borrowing and lending is not easy
Borrowing and lending is not easy. It take trust, respect, and responsibility.

16. Just be sure to always ask permission and take very special care of what you borrow.
