CAUTION CAUT Daily Procedures Daily attendance is important Learning starts at 7:40 AM If you are late, take your child to the office to get a late pass If your child will be absent, call the attendance line If you are changing your going home plan, you need to notify the teacher in writing. may not be the best option, as we don’t always have time to check our messages throughout the day. If there is a change of who is picking up your child, notify the teacher in writing

10 CAUTION CAUT Special Classes Students will have five special classes each week, most taught by special area teachers. *PE Art Music Library Computer Lab (taught by classroom teacher) *On P.E. days please make sure your child wears tennis shoes and dresses appropriately. If they do not dress appropriately they will have to sit out of P.E.

Please notify the teacher if you have any problems. Packets are posted on Wednesday or Fridays (depending on classroom) Small paper books will be sent each week in the homework folder. CAUTION CAUT Lunch Students eat lunch in the cafeteria Your child’s teacher is NOT with them during lunch time, lunch aides are on duty to help assist students Hot Lunch $ Adults $3.00 Milk $.50, available for sack lunches Breakfast also available for purchase $1.00 On-line purchases available Cash/Check can be sent in with your student in a baggie/envelope. Please write your child’s name on it.

18 September 7th – 16th Building A Brighter Future …One Book at A Time!
Every student participates! Great incentives and prizes for students, for reading and for fundraising. 100% of all money raised goes directly to Brisas PTSO to support our school! If we meet our annual goal of $45,000, this will be our only fundraiser for the year. Our goal is have 100% of students participate, so we can fundraise AND increase the love of reading! No gift wrap or candy to sell! There is no minimum amount required to participate.

23 AM Drop-Off Map Approaching on Desert Breeze Blvd from Ray Road – You must turn left into the shared Brisas/Aprende front parking lot. When exiting, you must turn right to return to Ray Road. You can NOT enter this lot from McClintock Road. Approaching on Desert Breeze Blvd from McClintock Road – You must turn right into the Brisas parking lot. There will be two lanes that merge into one. When exiting, you must turn left to return to McClintock Road. You can NOT enter this lot from Ray Road. . K-5 To walk your child to the playground gate, please park on the street or in the Desert Breeze Park’s lot and walk your child across to campus using the crosswalk. K-5

24 PM Pick-Up Map 2-5 Grade students – If you are going to use curbside pick-up, all 2nd–5th grade students, unless they have a younger sibling, must be picked up in the shared Brisas/Aprende front parking lot. You must turn left into the parking lot from Desert Breeze Blvd. coming from Ray Road. After you pick-up your child, you must turn right to head back towards Ray Road. K-1 Grade students and older siblings – If you are going to use curbside pick-up, all Kindergarten and 1st grade students, along with their siblings, must be picked up in the Brisas parking lot. You must turn right into the parking lot from Desert Breeze Blvd. coming from McClintock Road. After you pick-up your child, you must turn left to head back towards McClintock Road. 2-5 To walk and pick-up your child at the playground gate, please park on the street or in the Desert Breeze parking lot then use the crosswalk to get onto campus. Remain standing behind the painted line. Your child will meet you in this designated location. K-1

CAUTION CAUT And Always Remember All I really need to know about how to live and what to do and how to be …I learned in Kindergarten. Share everything. Play fair. Don’t hit people. Put things back where you found them. Clean up your own mess. And it is still true no matter how old you are-when you go out into the world, it is best to hold hands and stick together.
