Only Flood vehicles and total loss cars go to the auctions Actually, most new car dealerships get their bait cars at auto auctions A bait car is usually a auction bought (used ) vehicle similar to their new car models but with lower prices on them. (usually parked up front) Most auto auctions sell new car dealership models that they just couldnt move in a specific time frame. Only now, they are selling at wholesale prices!

1- General condition of vehicle ( rust, dents, interior odor ) 2- Look under the vehicle for any fluid leaks 3- Open the hood ( pull oil dipstick and look at oil condition ) 4- Look at the front structure of car ( does it look straight? ) 5- Check the tires ( tread depth ) 6- Check V.I.N. and Manufacturers sticker ( V.I.N. should match )

1- Odometer ( make sure trip mileage is not on instead of true mileage) 2- Look for ANY lights on dash that stay on ( or that go out and come back on ) 3- Turn radio down, roll up windows and LISTEN ( It is a used vehicle so it might not be perfect ) Check all A/C vents ( including rear A/C )

The title MUST be present to legally sell a pre owned vehicle Look For Brands on title Example : Rebuilt, Flood, Lemon, Salvage Buy Law, all dealerships MUST do the Tag, Title and registration work Make sure V.I.N on title matches V.I.N on car
