Interesting Facts After Pluto was classified as a dwarf planet, Neptune became the farthest planet from the sun. Neptune’s diameter is about 30,200 miles or almost 4 times the earths diameter. Approximately 4.6 billion years ago the solar system was a cloud of dust.
