3 Application Letters apply to applications processed this year.
Direct Certification and Expiring Grace are POS, not Application Letters, because they do not belong to a processed application. Application Letters apply to applications processed this year. 4 Creating Application Letters
Browse to >Community>Letters and click Create Letter, then choose Application. Browse to >Community>Letters

5 Mouse over the function keys; a popup will describe they’re function.
Give it a Name, Description and Language and you’re ready to create your new letter. Mouse over the function keys; a popup will describe they’re function. Type in the contents of your Letter or, if you’ve already got it in electronic format, simply Copy/Paste. Use Merge Codes to insert the appropriate data for your students into each letter. Choose the applicable code from the dropdown list. Be sure to Save when finished. Give it a Name, Description and Language. Mouse over the function keys; a popup will describe they’re function. Type in the contents of your Letter or, if you’ve already got it in electronic format, simply Copy/Paste. Use Merge Codes to insert the appropriate data for your students into each letter. [STUDENTNAMEELIGIBILITYVERTICAL] will include all students in the household and is used when sending One Letter per Household. Choose the applicable code from the dropdown list. Be sure to Save when finished.

6 To locate students receiving the letters browse to >Community>Free and Reduced>Applications

7 The default view will display All applications Processed to Date.

8 And choose whether to Print One Letter Per Household

9 Choose by Date or for In Review Pick a Date Range
(You can also use >Student Records to find and review a applications, as shown on the next page) The Application page offers a wide variety of filtering options to locate Applications.
