Civilian Employment Information (CEI)

Civilian Employment Information (CEI)
The military services shall implement reporting requirements for employment related information for each officer, warrant officer and enlisted person assigned to the Ready Reserve as directed in enclosure 10 of RCCPDS. All Selected Reserve members excluding AGRs shall annually update their CEI data.

The collection of civilian employer information (CEI) will facilitate open communications between the Department of Defense and the civilian employers of Guard and Reserve service members to inform service members and employers of their rights, benefits, and obligations.

Civilian Employment Information (CEI)
The immediate goal is to increase the effectiveness of the Department of Defense's employer outreach programs by identifying employers directly affected by DoD policies and mobilizations. The Department will then be better able to assess actual employer needs and identify possible incentives to encourage employer support for Reserve participation.
