JA Excellence Through Ethics… (The W’s)
WHAT: This 13 Lesson program supplement contains lessons focusing specifically on decision-making, business ethics vs. personal ethics, and facing difficult decisions with honor, among others WHO: Taught by a Business Professional Why: Unique classroom experience for your students

How long do the programs take? 1. The program must be implemented by an outside volunteer resource 2. The volunteer must complete all lessons 3. A verification form must be completed upon completion of program JA is a great compliment to what the students are already learning, delivered in an experiential way to reinforce their understanding. Matched to State and National Standards 45 minutes 5,7 or 12 Visits, depending on program Visits are set up and scheduled by the volunteer and teacher in a way that works best for both schedules. How Much Does it Cost? JA programs are provided at no cost

How to start a program…Starting a Finding the Hero Within Program is easy, and the impact on young people starts immediately. Step 1: Contact us! We are here to help and we have a lot of materials that can help you plan and get you rolling. us at Step 2: Get a partner. You don’t have to do this alone. Find a local business or company that will work with you to get your program up and running. We can help with that too Step 3: Design your program. Using the materials from the Center for Cowboy Ethics and Leadership, identify your needs and any additional funding resources you require and work with your partner to raise the necessary funds (not everyone has additional funding needs) Step 4: Launch your program. hold an event to bring people together, share what ‘Finding the Hero Within’ is all about, and inspire them to become a part of it!
