2 Part 1: Blocks Use the blocks to “build” the reactant(s).
Find the mass of reactant(s) altogether. Rearrange the blocks to “build” the product(s). Find the mass of the product(s) altogether.

3 Part 2: NaHCO3(s)+HC2H3O2(aq)CO2(g)+H2O+NaC2H3O2(aq)
Carefully place some acetic acid (less than 25mL) in the flask Place some sodium bicarbonate inside the balloon Attach the balloon to the top of the flask without allowing any sodium bicarbonate to fall into flask Find the mass of all entire set up Leaving the set up on the triple beam balance, lift the balloon to allow sodium bicarbonate to fall into flask

Write the chemical equation you had for the blocks. Create a table showing the mass of the reactants and products of that equation (remember to include units). Write out the second chemical equation Create a table showing the mass before the reaction and after the reaction (remember to include units). Explain what happens to the atoms involved in a chemical reaction (write in a complete sentence). This lab was an introduction to the Law of Conservation of Mass, based on what you have seen in both parts of the lab, create a logical definition of the Law of Conservation of Mass and explain how this lab is related. (Your answer must have at least four complete sentences).
