Preparation Guidelines
Audience: Educators including prospective and practicing teachers, administrators, WVU faculty. Time: Each session is 1 hour. Each of the 3 presenters scheduled has 15 minutes for his/her individual presentation. There is a 15 minute question and answer period at the end of the session for all 3 presentations.

Preparation Guidelines
Length of powerpoint: slides The session facilitator will introduce you, then you will present for 15 minutes. Time for questions occurs after all 3 presenters have finished. If you are presenting with a partner, decide who will do what at each step of your presentation.

Title Slide: Name & Study Title Why did I study this topic? Methodology Research Question and Subquestions Context: School, Classroom, Participants Teaching strategy—a description of what you implemented Data sources

Results & Conclusions Summarize data analysis Answer each research question Interpret results Implications What I learned from AR that will interest other teachers How I will change my teaching – future plans for teaching Future research Wonderings/Questions that emerged from my study—These may serve to guide the discussion at the end of the session. Formatting Font: Arial, Helvetica Font Size: This is 32 pt
Keep number of text lines to a minimum Each text line should be short….a phrase, key words Use upper and lower case letters Keep font colors to 2 Mix visuals and text

Determine slide template Type in titles for each slide Type in supporting text Add visuals Check animation features…keep to a minimum Consistent effect for each slide Consistent slide transition
