1 SUNDAY 14th October 2018 Jam and Jewellery sale for CAP Sunday 28th October This is advance warning that on Sunday 28th October I will be selling top quality home made jam, chutney and jewellery, all proceeds will go to CAP, please bring cash if you would like to buy anything. Many thanks Helen Care for family-Raising faith Raising Faith – Helping Children Find A Faith That Lasts The Care for the Family Raising Faith tour is coming to Leeds in November. The session explores how you can help your child find a genuine faith of their own and help them discover God in the everyday. Wednesday 21 November at St George’s Church, pm Tickets £6 each or cheaper if bought in a group. Visit for more details. HVNLY Hvnly Hangout - 14th of October – Mark and Rachel Riches House – 4.30 to 6.30pm – Katy Lambert from the International Justice Mission is coming to talk to us, there will also the usual mix of food, games and time together. Hvnly Hangout – 2nd of December – Christmas Laser Tag – Time to be confirmed followed by food (hot chocolate and cake maybe or hot dogs We always want to care & look out for each other as a community, but please remember that except for when they are in their designated groups, all children & young people remain the responsibility of their parents/carers at all times. Following the break Katy Lambert speaking on behalf of International Justice Mission. Please note that communion will be next week rather than this morning. Welcome to Chapel A THIS COMING WEEK Tuesdays at 11am in the church office - a short prayer meeting with the staff and whoever would like to pray for Chapel A. Housegroups generally meet on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Please see notice board in corridor. Tuesdays - Totally Tuesday for Years 5-7, pm in Chapel All. Methodist Hall. Wednesday – WOW youth group for Years 8+ in Chapel Allerton Methodist Hall. Please contact Hannah Dey on or ab out any of our usual groups for young people. Chapel A Giving Group - Thursday 15th November, 8pm A working group is meeting again on Thursday 15th November at 8pm at Clare's house (Model Farm, Meanwood) to continue the discussion on how we make decisions about Chapel A's giving (e.g. how much, to where, for how long?), and how we might best support and engage with current beneficiaries more effectively.  If you would like to come and take part in this conversation you would be very welcome, please contact Clare on or SafeGuarding Information The church safeguarding officers are Hannah Dey and Johanna Hooson.
