1 PRODUCTS (POWER PLANT)
Good to see you everyone, my name is Yoo Seung Shim and thank you for giving me this opportunity to introduce our company, PSC PSC Corporation

2 PSC’s Supplies in Power Plant #1
Deaerators A deaerator is a device that is widely used for the removal of oxygen and other dissolved gases from the feed water to steam-generating boiler. In particular, dissolved oxygen in boiler feed waters will cause serious corrosion damage in steam systems by attaching to the walls of metal piping and other metallic equipment and forming oxides. Most deaerators are designed remove oxygen down to levels 7 ppb by weight or less as well as essentially eliminating carbon dioxide. Surface Condensers A surface condenser is commonly used term for a water-cooled shell and tube heat exchanger installed on the exhaust stem from a steam turbine in thermal power stations. These condensers are heat exchangers which convert steam from its gaseous to its liquid state at a pressure below. In thermal power plants, the primary purpose of a surface condenser is to condense the exhaust steam from a steam turbine to obtain maximum efficiency. Feedwater Heaters A feedwater heater is a power plant component used to pre-heat water delivered to a steam generating boiler. Preheating the feedwater reduces the irreversibilities involved in steam generation and therefore improves the thermodynamic efficiency of the system.[4] This reduces plant operating costs and also helps to avoid thermal shock to the boiler metal when the feedwater is introduced back into the steam cycle. CCW (Closed Cooling Water) Heat Exchangers Closed Cooling Water Heat Exchanger is device installed at the component cooling water system designed to cool purified cooling water for various equipment by using sea water during the operation of power plant PSC’s Ability Fabrication PSC’s Ability Detail Design & Fabrication

Filter Elements & Housings Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers A shell and tube heat exchanger is a class of heat exchanger designs. It is the most common type of heat exchanger in oil refineries and other large chemical processes, and is suited for higher-pressure applications. As its name implies, this type of heat exchanger consists of a shell (a large pressure vessel) with a bundle of tubes inside it. One fluid runs through the tubes, and another fluid flows over the tubes (through the shell) to transfer heat between the two fluids. The set of tubes is called a tube bundle, and may be composed of several types of tubes: plain, longitudinally finned, etc. Strainers PSC’s Ability Detail Design and Fabrication PSC’s Ability Detail Design and Fabrication

CTCS (Condenser Tube Cleaning System) Continuous cleaning of internal tube surface is accomplished by constant circulation of sponge rubber balls having a diameter slightly larger than the tube diameter. These sponge rubber balls are injected into the cooling water inlet. The water flow carries them into the inlet water boxes, then through the tubes, and finally into the ball strainer located at the cooling water outlet. From there, they are expected and pumped through the ball collector and back to the cooling water inlet. The ball collector allows collection of the sponge rubber balls prior to backwashing the strainer grids. Sea Water Debris Filters Sea Water Debris Filter installed on a large diameter Sea Water Pipeline is designed to eliminate debris and trash - fish, seaweed, mussel, clams, shells and others to protect condenser or heat exchanger at power plant.
