1 Good News For The Wisdom Impaired! #2 Proverbs 2:1-7

2 1 My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you,
2 turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding, (Proverbs 2:1-2)

3 3 and if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding,
4 and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, (Proverbs 2:3-4)

4 5 then you will understand the fear of the
5 then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God. 6 For the LORD gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. 7 He holds victory in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, (Proverbs 2:3-4)

5 Wisdom is the capacity to view things from God’s perspective and respond according to biblical principles. Reasons We Need Wisdom God commands us to be wise. (Proverbs 8:10-11)

6 10 Choose my instruction instead of
10 Choose my instruction instead of silver, knowledge rather than choice gold, 11 for wisdom is more precious than rubies, and nothing you desire can compare with her. (Proverbs 8:10-11)

7 There is no material thing that can compare to wisdom.
Having the ability to see things from God’s viewpoint is far more valuable than even jewels.

8 3. Seven Steps to Acquiring Wisdom
Seek wisdom. 4 and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, (Proverbs 2:4) 17 I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me. (Proverbs 8:17)

9 Meditate upon His Word. 1 My son, if you accept my word and store up my commands within you, (Proverbs 2:1)

11 Obey principles of Scripture.

8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does. (James 1:7-8)
