2. The Theme for 2014 is, CHILDREN, OUR FUTURE.
PURPOSE
To commemorate the Avatar’s Declaration day, 20 October, through a global service project, Serve the Planet.
To be instruments in the divine mission of our dear Lord Sai, by engaging in selfless service activities, in our journey of self realisation and self transformation.
The Theme for 2014 is, CHILDREN, OUR FUTURE.
The purpose of this activity is to Serve our divine Children, with the
understanding that the Seva is done by Sai, to Sai, through Sai.

3. GUIDELINES
Each region will be allocated a block to revamp at one of the Sathya Sai schools. Regions to set a task team together and decide on their plan of action. All allocated tasks are to be completed over the weekend of 18th/19th October 2014.
Like all projects in the organisation, Integration of all wings are encouraged.
Please ensure that there is maximum participation from all centres within your region and opportunities are created for ALL devotees.
20th October 2014, is on a Monday, so Sai soldiers will be pouring out their love to Swami over the weekend of the 18th and 19th.

4. SATHYA SAI SCHOOLS
Swami has proclaimed that long after His Physical form has left this earth; the footprints which he will leave behind are His Sathya Sai Schools.
These are the Educational Institutes which bare His Divine name.
It is our responsibility to ensure that these schools are taken to the pinnacle heights of divine perfection.
It is for this reason that all four tiers of our organisation have jointly decided that Seva activities of a great magnitude be undertaken at the Sai Schools to ensure that his legacy lives on through the extreme make over project.

With Swami’s Grace the Goal is to Hand over a brand new Computer Lab by the 20th Oct,
consisting of 35 computers

Painting of classrooms, wall & ceilings, Doors and skirting

Extreme clean up of all blocks
Sanding and varnishing of all desks
Painting of Classrooms, Doors, Amphitheatre
Cleaning and Repairs of Windows, Frames, Sills
Sweep, Mop & Vacuum Floors.
General Gardening
Plumbing of School Toilets

8. SATHYA SAI SCHOOL NEWCASTLE
Extreme Clean Up
Repair cracks and Painting of the hall
Sanding, Sealing and varnishing of all desks
Painting of classrooms, chalkboards, corridors etc.
Stripping and sealing of all classroom floors
Cleaning of all classroom windows , burglar guards, hall carpets.
Sanding down and Painting of all concrete Garden Furniture & Goal Posts
Repair and commission gate motor & Intercom
Replace Asbestos Barge Boards in Admin Block
Setup Library and Labelling of Shelves
Cleaning and Setting Up of Stock Room

9. BUILD UP to SERVE THE PLANET 20 OCTOBER
A Pre-Avatar day video will be created to be played at all centres outlining the Serve the Planet project and how devotees can be involved.
Study Circle material will be provided on the importance of children, education and the Sai Schools
Regions and centres are kindly asked to use these discourses as study circle topics during satsang as a build up to STP. Please feel free to discuss even after the 20th Oct
