The Detroit Chapter of ACG proudly announces its 3rd Annual ACG Detroit Cup The final round will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at Walsh College, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.

What is the ACG Cup? 3rd Annual ACG Cup The ACG Cup is an MBA Business Case Competition An intercollegiate competition among students at schools in Southeastern Michigan to find the brightest minds for the future of M & A. Students gain invaluable feedback from judges, expand networks, and compete for scholarships.

Participating Schools
3rd Annual ACG Cup Eligibility: The competition is open to all graduate students who are officially registered at participating schools during the academic year.

Round One Competition January 22, 2010 – January 30, 2010 (On-Campus)
3rd Annual ACG Cup ACG Detroit gave access to a virtual data room containing an M&A case study to the teams selected to compete at Round One two weeks prior to the date of their Round One competition. The participating teams were required to submit a complete executive summary to ACG Detroit at least three days prior to the competition date. During Round One, teams presented their analysis and recommendations to a panel of ACG judges for 30 minutes (including Q&A). After all teams presented, the judges chose teams to advance to the Round Two (Final Round), which will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at Walsh College.

Round Two (Final Round) Saturday, February 13, 2010 at Walsh College
3rd Annual ACG Cup On January 30, 2010, ACG Detroit distributed a new case study to the six finalist teams selected to advance to Round Two. The teams will submit a complete executive summary. During Round Two, six finalist teams will present their analysis and recommendations to a panel of ACG judges.

Awards 3rd Annual ACG Cup In 2010, a total of $19,000 in scholarship money will be awarded to the six winning teams to advance to Round Two 1st place: $10,000 2nd place: $5,000 Remaining teams: $1,000 per team

Awards 3rd Annual ACG Cup The first place winning team will be invited to attend the ACG Detroit/Crain’s Detroit Business Annual M&A Awards to be held in March 2010 All Cup participants are eligible to apply for an internship with the global law firm Pinsent Masons in London in the summer of 2010
