In problem #2 the unit quantity was 1 hour. Then I determined the multiplicative inverse that produced 1 in each problem. Using the multiplicative inverse, I multiplied the other quantity to find the unit rate.

It is not a proportional relationship. This statement is not true because as time passes, Luke will always only be 1 year older than Erin. It is not a proportional relationship.

To solve the problems above, I used the unit rate from the original problem and multiplied each quantity in the rate by the same value.
