Much more common for a person to see a Lunar Eclipse Everybody on the dark side (night) of the Earth can see it Not as striking or obvious as a solar eclipse Like Solar Eclipses, there are different types All the light that is now hitting the Moon is actually traveling through our atmosphere (otherwise the moon would be completely dark) This is why the moon looks red (like our sunrise/sunsets)
