At the first ever Virtual Jam Fest, six different bands each showed up at up to 4 different locations in the Austin, Texas metropolitan area, hooked up their gear, and played 30-minute sets using the free, new JamKazam service. The musicians at each location were connected by typical consumer Internet connections, and played together in real time by ear.
