11 Comparison to State (elementary)

12 Comparison to State (6th Grade)

13 Achievement Gap - this is what hurt us!
The distance between our lowest quartile (bottom 25%) and the state average 2012: 6 points 2013: 9 points 2014: 3 points We are trying to identify the students in our lowest quartile from the complicated data file!

14 Not good!

15 Student Growth Profiles (SGP)
In grades 5-6, we will be sending home SGP reports (in color!) in our report cards. Please review these carefully (the info is also in LDS) to determine which students showed low growth last year (under 35%). These are (some) of your target students. Make a list of your homeroom students who showed low growth and which subject area it was! We will create a spreadsheet to share with you in order to document which interventions are being used with these students.

16 Median SGP’s by Subject and Grade WC
Anything over 35% is typical growth. Anything over 65% is high growth

17 Now what? Continue RtI and update your data notebooks weekly
Continue to update literacy and math spreadsheets in Google Drive twice a month Continue Read 180 (dynamic groups with data provided by Mrs. Combs) Continue ESOL math push-in with Ms. Hernandez Start grades 3-6 math remediation with Ms. Riddle (tomorrow!) Start After-School Program in Feb/March (6 weeks?) And….

18 To Do! 5-6 Make a list of homeroom students who showed low SGP (below 35%) and in which subject. We will provide a spreadsheet on Google Drive. K-6 Make a list of students who are not showing progress in their intervention groups. Include the intervention and data that shows their lack of progress. We will provide a spreadsheet for this. Give these lists to your Data Team rep before next Tuesday!

19 Other business... Mrs. Ross is still out with Riley
Give Mrs. Ingram your condolences when she returns Mrs. Kidd has a new granddaughter! Canceled Gary Alderman training - Thur/Fri I need someone for Thursday morning duty! Thank you! Greet ‘em with a smile tomorrow!
