2. CHARITY WEEK IS COMING UP!
February 25th-March 1st
We are looking for sponsors, if you know of a business that would be willing to sponsor our charity week or your parent’s companies are interested pick up a flyer outside Mr. Lindstrom’s room! Thanks for your help!

4. ART CLUB
Meeting today (Monday Feb. 11). All art club members that wish to remain in art club will need to see Mrs. Bovio today if they have not yet signed up for the community service project. Check your for details.

5. Girls Tennis
Attention girls tennis players: There will be a meeting after school on Friday in PE classroom 101 for those interested in playing tennis this spring

6. Attention all Juniors!!
Are you thinking about what courses you might want to take during your senior year? Would you like to do an internship where you could learn about a particular job? The Practicum Program gives you the opportunity to learn outside of the classroom. You could intern in the medical field, business, law, education, or any field you want to pursue. Applications for the Practicum Program are out! See Mrs. Megerian in Room 209 to get your application.

7. Anchors
Adams Anchors will be meeting during all three lunch hours Wednesday, February 13, 2013 in the choir room. Also, before school on Wednesday, Anchors will be selling bagels in front of the media center, room 248. Bagels cost $1.00. Come to Anchors and bring a friend.

8. Rochester Idol
Congratulations to the following for getting into the Rochester Idol singing competition: Senior Gabe Johnson, Senior Michael Greco, Junior Kristin Heim, Sophomore Aaron Griffin, and Freshman Valerie Schlaupitz.
The singing competition will take place at Rochester High School on Friday, February 15th at 7 P.M with tickets going on sale at 6:30 for $5. Come support these fellow highlanders in hopes of beating Rochester and Stoney!

9. Science Olympiad
Please pick up your t-shirt order form by Wednesday Feb. 15th. The next meeting will be Wed. Feb. 20th immediately after school.

10. NHS Members
Please stop by Mrs. Winkler’s room 235 to sign up for community service opportunities.  Reminder:  our next meeting is February 2:30 or February 7:15 a.m. 
Executive Board members ONLY: 
Plan to meet in Room 235 next Tuesday (Feb. 12th)  after school.

11. Safe Driving Awareness Contest
In order to raise awareness of the growing problem of texting while driving, the Rochester Hills Government Youth Council is sponsoring a contest funded by Ford and AAA
January 28th to February 15th to submit a poster, video, song, or anything that will promote no texting while driving.
The top 3 winners from each school will receive Visa Gift Cards: First place gets $150, second place gets $100 and third place gets $75. Winning videos or songs will be placed on the announcements, and posters will be hung throughout the school.
