New Manager! A new manager appointed in 2008 for England football team. What type of leader is he? (business theory please!) How did he introduce a new culture to the team? Why has Capello been able to bring about such change to the team? (think about past performance/manager) Think about INTERNAL & EXTERNAL factors These are ALL the things that you need to bring to an exam essay Q about “the influence a new manager has to change the culture of a business”. England failed to qualify for Euro 2008 – poor performance means that they were open to change No player guaranteed a place Changed the captain! Beckham to Terry…. Terry now removed for off pitch behaviour Places to best player at the time not based on past performance Turn up to training, attend all matches even if not on bench, No WAGS allowed Mrs Gordon's Notes
