The Analytics button displays once students have been enrolled, the course is published, and students have started to participate.

Aggregate Class Data Activity = Page Views + Participations Submissions: Assignments displayed in order of Due Date Grades: Box and whisker plot showing grades distributions

Course Analytics – Activity by Date
See when students view a page or participate in the course. Course “Participation” includes: loading a Collaboration to view/edit a document joining a Conference posting to a Discussion creating a wiki Page starting/submitting a Quiz submitting an Assignment updating a Calendar event’s settings or description (instructor only) updating an Assignment’s settings or description (instructor only)

Course Analytics - Submissions
Shows the status of each graded assignment based on due date. Ordered by due date Without due date, submissions are “On Time” Assignments with Submission Type set for “Online Submission” are displayed y-axis: % of students

Shows the median, high, and low scores for an assignment y-axis: assignment points (not percentage) Ordered by due date flat line – all students earned same score

Student Analytics are always shown in table format and display an overview of each student’s activity. Student Analytics aggregate to Course Analytics Sort students by ascending/descending page views, participations, or by grade Click on student name for Student Analytics details
