Shapes Mitral Valve: “miter”- a tall pointed hat worn by bishops
Bicuspid-2 Flaps (just mitral) Tricuspid-3 Flaps 4 Valves: Aortic, Mitral, Pulmonary, Tricuspid

Locations 4 Valves to control blood flow:
2 atrioventricular valves lie between the atria and ventricles. 2 semilunar valves are at the exits from the ventricles.
4
Functions of the Valves
Valve flaps let blood flow into the ventricle but close to prevent blood from flowing back into the atrium. Pressure inside the ventricles shut the intake valves and increase of more pressure forces outlet valves open for blood flow to lungs and organs. Right-Lungs Left-Organs
