Housing First Models 2016 – California Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) launches Domestic Violence Housing First pilot funding 4 housing first DV programs in Los Angeles County Funded with Victims of Crime Act Victim Assistance Formula Grant Program funds Modeled on Washington State Domestic Violence Housing First Program 2016 – LA County commits $1 million for DV Rapid Rehousing pilot

Crisis Housing 2017 -LA County commits Measure H funding to hybrid crisis housing model for women Recognizing all women experiencing homelessness are victims of trauma and need trauma informed care and safety planning Emphasis on all forms of trauma including DV, IPV, sexual assault, human trafficking, and childhood sexual and physical abuse
