Situation: live- they did their budget in Prophix in August, 2013
Business Issue: Previously used Hyperion which was too big a solution for them, they had a bad relationship with Oracle.
The IT Director was against ‘getting any deeper into bed with Oracle.’ this statement is for our internal reference only.
Prophix Solution: Financial Savings over continued used and development of Hyperion. Fast to deploy, easy to connect to AX2012 and pull through structure and data (this was tested as an initial POC at the beginning of the sale)
Benefit Realized: easier and faster to own, maintain and use. One quote I was given was that previously they would have to run Hyperion overnight to generate certain reports with Prophix this is now done in a minute.

Benefit realized / planned: Prophix made it is to see the number of new connections which are key to achieving revenue growth targets. These are compared to construction plans, which are created in a separate Prophix model, in order to align the resource plans/project build
