1 What is EAA? The Experimental Aircraft Association, located in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, is a nonprofit community of passionate aviation enthusiasts that promotes and supports recreational flying. Our mission is to grow participation in aviation by sharing The Spirit of Aviation®. We host numerous events throughout the year, with the largest being EAA AirVenture Oshkosh. EAA Collegiate Volunteer Program

2 What is EAA AirVenture Oshkosh?
AirVenture is the World’s Greatest Aviation Celebration®. It attracts more than half a million people from all over the world, bringing together aviation pioneers with groundbreaking innovations. The weeklong event consists of unique aircraft, forums, exhibitors, demonstrations, and air shows. Without a doubt, it tips the scales of fun, spectacle, and education to create once-in-a-lifetime experiences. Attend the world-class event July 23-29, 2018 EAA Collegiate Volunteer Program

Volunteer opportunities are available through our Collegiate Volunteer Program. The one-week program allows college students to gain valuable on-the-job skills by giving them firsthand experience and behind-the-scenes access to AirVenture. EAA Collegiate Volunteer Program

> Free admission wristbands to AirVenture Weekly wristband for volunteers logging at least 40 hours Daily wristband for volunteers logging at least four hours on a specific day > Complimentary camping for those volunteering at least 40 hours > Free meals and beverages during volunteer shifts > Free one-time six-month EAA membership when you complete an application > The experience of a lifetime! > Aircraft greeters > Parking or traffic > Moving and placing aircraft Grounds/Facilities: > Set up and take down equipment for forums and other events Administrative/Business/Customer Service: > Human resources students can support the Volunteer Center > Accounting students can support our finance office > Students interested in customer service can volunteer at the Welcome Center EAA Collegiate Volunteer Program

EAA has a place for you. Food/Event Management: > Operation Thirst volunteers prep and distribute more than 1,000 lunches daily > Audio/Visual volunteers set up equipment for events and programs > Lifetime Dinner and Gathering of Eagles volunteers set up the museum’s Eagle Hangar for the two major events Visual Media: > Photographers > Videographers > Grips > Editors And many, many more!
