2 MEDICAL VOCABULARY It is divided in 3 parts: Injury Illness Disease

3 INJURIES WOUND (noun) Wounded (adjective) BURN
I burned my finger with the stove The wounded soldiers are going to the hospital the wound on my finger does not heal

4 BREAK SPRAIN (swollen) I sprained my ankle playing soccer.
I have broken my leg and now my leg is in a cast to recover. I sprained my ankle playing soccer. My ankle was twice the size of the other one due to the inflammation

5 ILLNESSES FLU COLD My dad got a cold and he’s coughing a lot
People who have the flu should not visit hospital patients.

6 GERM You can't have visitors because your immune system is low.
Germs infested yesterday and now I'm sneezing

7 DISEASE CHRONIC People with diabetes have to constantly check their blood sugar levels. My grandmother can't knit anymore because the arthritis in her hands is so bad.

8 BENIGN TERMINAL Surgery is used after chemotherapy to remove any remaining tumor. There are many different options when it comes to treating cancer. You can't see her right now; she's in critical condition due to cancer We're going to remove the cysts just to be on the safe side.
