2 Business Case-Youth Sports
Purpose is to request funding to contract with Miami Dade County Sports and League Programs to offset participation fees for active duty youth. Purpose: for smaller garrisons that do not have on-post youth sports programming for active duty youth. Benefits: -School success linked to youth sports involvement -Reduce ‘at risk’ behaviors

CURRENT CYS PROGRAMMING 1 shared facility for CDC and SAC opened 2011 64 children in CDC and 11 children in SAC Current needs assessment conducted in 2017 Identified strong interest for CYS youth sports and fitness programs

REQUIREMENTS Eligibility: Active Duty Youth Contract requirement for $11,700 per year with NAYS affiliated off-post youth sports and league program $75 offset fee per sport, per child Basketball Flag football Baseball/softball BLUF.
