5 Developer’s front door to Oracle cloud
Mobile Application Container Java Containers Database SOA Developer You can use DevCS for any type of software project. In addition to managing software it can help you manage your infrastructure through integration with industry standards such as docker, kubernetese, and terraform as well as with the Oracle specific APIs PSM and OCI command lines, Visual Builder Out-of-the-box integrations with Oracle platform and infrastructure services Compute Storage

15 Docker & Kubernetes Support
Docker commands in build Publish to any registry including Oracle Support any Kubernetes including OKE Kubectl on build server Support custom build images Support .NET builds

16 Terraform Support Automate IaaS tasks
Leverage Terraform build VM image Orchestrate deployment on OCI Terraform Plugin pre-installed Packer support

17 Deployment Environments
A new top level section in Developer Cloud Service now allows you to define "Environments" - a collection of cloud services that you bundle together under one name. Once you have an environment defined, you'll be able to see the status of your environment on the home page of your project. You can for example define a development, test and production environments - and see the status of each one with a simple glance. Project Templates When you create a new project in DevCS you can base it on a template. Up until this release you were limited to templates created by Oracle, now you can define your own templates for your company. Template can include default artifacts such as wiki pages, default git repositories, and even builds and deployment steps. This is very helpful for companies who are aiming to standardize development across development teams, as well as for team who have repeating patterns of development.

22 Simplified DevSecOps

23 Over 1500 data breaches in U.S in 2017, 44% YoY increase
Majority caused by vulnerability in software (source code, dependencies, and/or infrastructure software)

24 Application security challenges
Existing solutions require manual process Toolchain configuration and integration Review scans, take action File bug, download, test, merge, deploy, … Not everyone keeps an eye on deployed code Not all affected deployments are aware of vulnerabilities Many don’t take immediate action (e.g. Equifax)
