Reality Show Pitch Develop a “reality” show pitch for a show based in New York City during the Gilded Age. The Show should include at least 3 different “types” of people. Audience = high school students who want history to be interesting In written and oral form you will tell me: The people on the show and why you chose them. What they will be doing (working? Living together? Competing?) and why you chose these tasks. Overall, why do you think this will be useful and enjoyable for high school students to watch. Develop and perform a two minute scene that includes 2 characters from your reality show. This scene should convey how each of the 3 people were impacted differently by changes that took place during the Gilded Age & how this brought them into conflict.

Reality Show Reflection
Write an ACES paragraph answering the question: What grade do you deserve on this assignment? As you write, think about your role during the project: Did you write ideas? Did you help choose characters? Did you come up with what the characters should do? Did you help present the pitch? Did you perform the scene?
