14 SOCIAL MEDIA: THE WSDOT BLOG
We benefit from WSDOT’s strong social media presence. We have good support from our Communications department and have been featured in the WSDOT Blog.

15 YouTube CWU researchers have been studying wildlife along Interstate 90 near Snoqualmie Pass for several years to help inform how the state’s first freeway overpass for animals will be designed. Since 2008, WSDOT has funded research by CWU faculty and students at animal crossings along I-90. The wildlife monitoring project is the largest study of its kind in the United States and is unique because the monitoring is occurring prior to construction. (from the youtube page) video is 1:54 Central Washington University wildlife research on Snoqualmie Pass

16 Webinar Series: RESEARCH INNOVATIONS
Formed in 2007, the Washington Wildlife Habitat Connectivity Working Group is co-led by WSDOT and Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. In 2013, they held a series of webinars that featured how partners within and outside of the working group are putting the scientific products to work.  (link is to the group’s home page) webinar page link here:
